Speed optimization — common questions
What load time should I expect?
We target under three seconds, which is the threshold Google treats as acceptable. What is achievable depends on your hosting and how the site was built — we tell you the realistic ceiling after the audit rather than promising a number we can’t hit.
Will this improve my Google ranking?
Speed is a ranking factor, but it is one of many. Faster pages reliably improve conversion and reduce bounce; treating speed alone as an SEO strategy would be overselling it.
Do I need to change hosting?
Sometimes. Cheap shared hosting has a floor you cannot optimise past. If that is what is holding you back we will say so — and you can either move, or accept the ceiling. We do not force a migration to sell hosting.
Will my site look different afterwards?
No. Optimisation changes how assets are delivered, not how the site looks. We check key pages before and after to confirm nothing shifted.
How long does it take?
Typically two to four working days, depending on the size of the site and how much image and database cleanup is needed.
