How it works
What actually happens
Audit and plan
We document what exists — hosting, DNS, email, SSL, URL structure — before anything moves. Most migration failures start with a missing item here.
Build and test
The site is stood up on the new host and tested while your live site keeps running untouched.
Cut over
DNS switched at a low-traffic time, with MX records left alone so email keeps flowing. The old server stays available as a fallback.
Verify
Redirects, SSL, indexing settings and search console all checked after the move — not assumed.
Website migration — common questions
Will my site go down during the migration?
No. We build and test the site on the new host first, and only switch DNS once it is verified working. The old site stays live the entire time, so the worst case is a brief period where some visitors see the old server.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the migration is done properly. Rankings are lost when URLs change without redirects, or when the new site is accidentally left blocked from indexing. We map every URL and verify indexing settings before and after.
What happens to my email?
This is the part that most often goes wrong. Email runs on MX records, which are separate from your website. We check your existing mail setup before touching DNS and leave MX untouched unless email is explicitly part of the move.
Can you move me off WordPress, or onto it?
Between hosts is straightforward. Between platforms is a project rather than a migration — the content and URLs carry over, but templates and functionality have to be rebuilt. We scope those separately.
Why "from RM1,200"?
A single brochure site is at the bottom of that range. A WooCommerce store with live orders, or a site with a large media library and custom server configuration, takes considerably more work. We quote after seeing what you have.
